At CPN-PREV, we are proud to announce our participation in this year’s Eradicate Hate Summit taking place on September 19-21, 2022. The Eradicate Hate Global Summit is the most comprehensive anti-hate conference in the world. It unites experts and leaders from around the globe, who are dedicated to eradicating all forms of hate-fueled violence. The mission of the Summit is to identify and implement effective solutions for collective change.

Menaces Identitaires et Résilience dans le Monde d’Aujourd’hui

As a follow-up to the symposium on “Adolescence in the world, the world of adolescents”, the Psy-DREPI proposes, through its second international and interdisciplinary symposium, to analyse identity threats and resilience in today’s world. The symposium aims to appreciate how the changes in the global world resonate in the internal world of individuals, but also how the developments that emerge from the internal world of individuals can inform the coexistence of societies in our globalized world.

Landscape of Hate – June 22 @ COOP Katacombes

Landscape of Hate is an improvised multimedia project with the objective of promoting and favouring the public voice in framing pluralistic dialogues about how we negotiate various forms of hate in our society. Our events typically consist of a combination of panel discussions, debates, art expositions, and performances.  Landscape of Hate performances includes a combination of original compositions of electronic music, audio samples, social media feeds, soundscapes and video projections. The lyrical materials are derived from data collected from the  Internet, research interviews and other public sources. Each performance is unique. Landscape of Hate played its debut show on May 9, 2017. A second concert was held on September 15, 2017, in Québec City. The next concert will be held on May 26, 2018, in Bergen, Norway.

 Dr. Ghayda Hassan , professor of clinical psychology at UQAM, founder, and director of the Canada Practitioners Network for the Prevention of Radicalization and Extremist Violence, UNESCO Co-Chair for the Prevention of Radicalisation and Violent Extremism, and a researcher for SHERPA-RAPS of the CIUSSS Centre-Ouest de l’île de Montréal, moderated a panel of experts who discussed the following discussions:
