Rania Ikram Djermane

Rania Ikram Djermane is a doctoral candidate in psychology (PhD/DPsy) at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Her innovative thesis, the recipient of a SSHRC Joseph-Armand Bombardier Fellowship, explores the experiences of Canadian Muslims exposed to domestic violence during childhood, helping to fill important research gaps while informing policy and clinical practice. Her research focuses on understanding and exploring violence, trauma, resilience, spirituality and transcultural psychology.
