TRAINING FORMULAS

When it comes to intervening in the field of preventing violent radicalization and extremism:

  • What posture can we adopt to reduce the risk of biases and misunderstanding vis-à-vis the people we work with?

  • What concepts do we need to know to develop a comprehensive overview of the current landscape in relation to these phenomena?

  • What practices should we adopt to work as a team in a way that respects the realities in the field?

Our training courses address these questions, proposing approaches and tools that enable practitioners to grasp the complexity of violent radicalization and extremism, their root causes and their relationship with the dynamics of social polarization.

  2. Understand

This axis focuses on exploring the complexity of the current landscape in the field of violent radicalization and extremism in Canada by deconstructing some common myths around these concepts and illustrating evidence-based data and promising practices.

  3. Take Action

This axis engages participants in exploring prevention and intervention strategies and programs, critically analyzing their strengths and weaknesses to formulate and implement plans tailored to specific contexts that meet the challenges they face in the field.

The modules can be combined in many creative ways
