THE Interactive MAP
Overview / About the Map
The CPN-PREV interactive map is a central reference tool designed to help the public understand what services are available in the fields of secondary and tertiary prevention of violent extremism in Canada. It helps understand and identify who (types of professionals) is where (offline/online location) doing what (type of services offered) offering a clear snapshot of the organizations across the country. Please note that police services are not included on this map.
The interactive map makes it easier to:
Identify available resources and services, as well as gaps;
Understand their roles, areas of action, and target populations;
Support an efficient referral system between professionals and organizations.
Secondary prevention focuses on supporting individuals at risk, while tertiary prevention supports those already involved to help in reintegration and prevent recurrence.
