Learning directly from practitioners on the ground : CPN-PREV at the 2nd Annual CANSES Workshop in Halifax
Colleagues in the CPN-PREV team recently had the privilege of attending the 2nd Annual CANSES Workshop in Halifax, bringing together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers working in the PVE space.
Over two enriching days, Ghayda Hassan (Director and Founder), Zeina Ismail Allouche (Director of Partnerships and Program Development), and Wilson Hernandez Varona (Capacity Development Coordinator), engaged in meaningful exchanges on current trends in the PVE field. We participated in collaborative discussions on education, research, updating Canada's national strategy for PVE, and learning directly from practitioners on the ground.
Meeting with this dedicated network reminded us of the collective strengths we bring to this critical work. The conversations reinforced not only the complexity of the challenges we face, but also the importance of continued collaboration across sectors.
Thank you to CANSES and all participants for fostering such valuable conversations.
