Systematic Reviews Coordinator

Wynnpaul Varela is a multidisciplinary researcher with a PhD in Education. He has been actively involved with CPN-PREV since 2017, contributing to its systematic reviews in multiple capacities and serving as the group’s English scientific writing reviewer. He has a background in music psychology, with extensive expertise in musical self-regulation and the role of music-making among senior adults. His research experience encompasses both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, as well as systematic and scoping reviews. Currently, he is also the Research Manager of a virtual national arts program for older adults at Queen’s University.
