Research Assistant
Nour el Houda Belmabrouk works as a research assistant at CPN-PREV, where she actively contributes to advancing knowledge in the field. She holds a certificate in Business Management Fundamentals from HEC and is on track to complete her bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). With five years of experience in intervention, Nour el Houda has had the opportunity to explore various aspects of intervention with marginalized or vulnerable communities. She has held key positions, including as coordinator of a helpline and community psychosocial worker within an organization dedicated to defending the rights of people with disabilities. Additionally, she has provided expertise as a therapist for children with special needs, particularly within the autism spectrum. She has actively worked to support equity and equality by providing psychosocial support, counseling services, and prevention programs to individuals who have experienced acts of violence or discrimination. Formerly a podcast manager within the psycho-neuro feminist committee at the University of Montreal (UDEM), Nour el Houda contributed to awareness, understanding, and action, thereby strengthening the fight against stigmas. She strives to create a world where everyone feels heard, supported, and included, regardless of their background or identity. Her interests in transcultural psychology, identity development, trauma, and resilience led her to fully engage in projects aimed at promoting inclusion and the better understanding of the realities of various communities.
