Traian Toma

Research Assistant

Traian Toma is a Ph.D. student in criminology at the University of Montreal and a reservist in the Canadian Armed Forces. Traian has research experience in matters related to cybersecurity and cybercrime, but he has since shifted his focus towards the study of extremism and radicalization. His current projects delve into the manosphere and especially incel communities, but he is otherwise also interested in the place of antifeminism, misogyny and gender-based violence within extremist groups more broadly.
